Natural Magic

10 1/2" x 11" x 2", wood and found objects $80
This piece resembles Nature's womb. The wonders growing inside. My inspiration for this sculpture started with donating to Second Generation's Thrift Shoppe in Rochester, NH.
A Step Towards Peace

Early in 2011, Redbeard Bullrider and I heard about Pastor Terry Jones threatening, eventually burning the Koran to protest the proposed Islamic Center at Ground Zero. We both were taking aback by this ignorant action.
Our creative muses sparked many conversations about Pastor Jones’s actions. I couldn’t help but think about all the tragedies that have happened over the centuries due to extreme religious views. My mind started to imagine a world of peace, without religion and prejudice.
Why take anger out on one religion when all religions bring out the extreme ugliness in the select few followers that choose to do horrible deeds in the name of their savior. I would rather protest all the blood-thirsty extremists, hiding sexual predators, and religions creating outcasts worldwide.
With this collaboration, I say, “Rid the world of ALL religion.”

American Dream

American Dream. 10' long and 4' high, 10" at the widest part on the base. $1500 carved wood, painted with industrial and acrylic paint
This sculpture was inspired by all the foreclosures happening around America. According to www.realtytrac.com in the beginning of 2011, our nation hit 2.9 million foreclosures. This has been a sad reality for many families who dreamed of having that white picket fence around their very own slice of heaven. No one plans on losing their house to a foreclosure. With everything that is happening with the economy and the banks excitement to loan, dreams have been lost quicker than they were reached.
